Mineola Pike (KY 3076) Widening
WHAT
is the scope of the project?
An approximately one-mile section of Mineola Pike (KY 3076) between Olympic Blvd. and Donaldson Hwy. will be widened to 5-lanes. A sidewalk will be added on the south side of the road, and a multiuse path on the north side. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained throughout project construction.
WHY
are these improvements taking place?
Widening this section of Mineola Pike will improve mobility and provide a better connection to I-275. It will also improve access to businesses in the area.
WHEN
will work begin and end?
Project construction began August 1, 2022, and is expected to be complete by late summer 2024.
WHERE
will there be impacts to traffic because of the project work?
There are several traffic pattern changes in place throughout this project.
