I-275 Pavement Work:
(Campbell/Kenton Line to U.S. 25 Overpass)

WHAT

is the scope of the project?

The project will include diamond grinding and grooving of pavement, crack sealing, cleaning bridge drains, and placing permanent striping and pavement markers. The project will require temporary road and ramp closures overnight for the duration of the project between the Campbell/Kenton County line and the U.S. 25 overpass.

WHY

are these improvements taking place?

Diamond grinding creates a smoother ride, reduced road noise, and improved friction for drivers in the area.

WHEN

will work begin and end?

Project construction began January 29, 2024, with completion expected by June 30, 2024.

WHERE

will there be impacts to traffic because of the project work?

Crews will be working on I-275 between the Campbell/Kenton County line (mile point 77.6) to the U.S. 25 overpass (mile point 82.5), a distance of 4.89 miles.
