Pleasant Valley Rd. Widening Project
Tuesday, Aug. 25, weather permitting:
Beginning at 9 a.m., traffic will be reduced to a single lane at Camp Ernst Rd. (KY 237) and Rogers Ln. so that a new pattern of traffic can be put into place for ongoing improvement work in this area. Flaggers will direct traffic; short delays are possible. The travel pattern is expected to be in place by noon.
Once the traffic shift has been completed, a new traffic pattern will be in place on Camp Ernst Rd. (KY 237) at the intersection of Rogers Ln.
For traffic traveling northbound, there will be two lanes -- the left lane will be a shared left turn/through lane, and the right lane will be a through lane.
For traffic traveling southbound, a single lane will remain open for through traffic.
This traffic pattern is expected to be in place through the end of the year while construction of the new alignment on KY 237 continues.
The intersection of Pleasant Valley Rd. (KY 237) and Thunder Ridge Dr. is closed. Residential traffic will not be able to access Pleasant Valley Rd. from Thunder Ridge Dr., and traffic on Pleasant Valley Rd. will not be able to access Thunder Ridge Dr. The intersection is expected to remain closed through the end of the year.
In addition, there is a new traffic pattern in place on Pleasant Valley Rd. Traffic has been shifted west onto the new pavement to allow for ongoing construction activity. This pattern of traffic is expected to be in place through the end of the year.
